Deepika faced
defeat despite taking lead in the last eight match. Deepika won the first set 28-26, while Korea's Soo Yeon defeated Deepika 28-25 in the second set. Bhajan lost to Indonesia's Charu Nisha Daya Nanda in the shoot off. After the score remained equal at 5-5 after five sets, the match reached the shoot off. Bull's eye means the shooter whose arrow is farther from the center will lose. Charu Nisha shot an arrow at nine while Bhajan's arrow hit eight and she was eliminated.

She was in 11th place after three races on Friday. She was 19th after the fourth race, 25th after the fifth and 24th after the sixth. In the men's category, Vishnu Saravanan is in 23rd place after the sixth race. India's 25-year-old Vishnu was 22nd after the fourth race, 23rd after the seventh and eighth races. There are four more races left in both the events, while the seventh and eighth races will be held on Sunday and the remaining two races on Monday. The top ten boats from the first series will make it to the finals on Tuesday.
