International: Russia on Monday attacked Ukraine with more than 100 missiles and nearly 100 drones, including several western regions that are neighboring or adjacent to the European country. 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday condemned Russia's overnight and early morning attacks on Ukraine. He described the Russian attack as "abhorrent" and said it involved more than 100 missiles of different types and about 100 "Shahed" drones.

Ukraine claimed 

The Ukrainian leader claimed that 'some people were killed' and dozens were injured. He also confirmed that the Russian attack caused 'significant damage' to Ukraine's energy sector. Zelensky said, 'Like most previous Russian attacks, this attack was equally vicious, targeting vital civilian infrastructure. Most of our regions - from Kharkiv and Kiev to Odessa and our western regions - were targeted. 

Currently, across the country, efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike. Russia on Monday attacked gas compressor stations and power substations in Ukraine, as well as two Ukrainian airbases containing Western weapons and ammunition, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. The ministry claimed that the energy facilities it targeted with drones and missiles were providing power to Ukraine's military industrial complex.
